New year, New BLOG!

The Hoopers <3 Our first wedding 08/2010

So we finally did it, we broke down and started a new blog!  2011 Was an amazing year for us and our business. We have met so many great people and learned so much along the way!  We feel we have really come a long way since our first wedding that we did for our friends back in August 2010. WOW here it is 2012 already!

We have taken a couple months off from shooting to improve our business and marketing skills and we are so excited to get back to work soon!! So far since we stopped shooting, we've gotten our Business License and are registered in TN as an LLC. (yep we get to charge and pay taxes now! BOO!)
We also became members of the PPA and are so glad we did! We are learning allot from professionals that have been in our shoes for over 20 years and highly recommend them if you are starting out! We have also gotten allot of new equipment for the New Year (so we don't have to keep handing the camera back and forth!) and for our upcoming weddings and Newborns!

What can you expect in our Blog?
Hopefully you will learn about who we are, see some great sneak peeks, some "behind the scenes" actions, AND some great tips for new moms and brides to be! Pretty much everything we have always wanted to put on our Facebook page but didn't have the room. We hope you enjoy our new blog and a chance to get to know us a little better before booking your next session.
