2012 Fall Mini Winner!

One of our first sessions ever!
We want to say thank you to all of those that joined in recently to vote for friends and family for a spot in our 2012 Fall Mini! We hope you stick around and maybe become one of our many great clients! So who won!? I'm pretty sure you already know if you've been following the event page. But I'm going to prolong it for a paragraph or two. Ok not really. Congratulations to the Newsome Family!

We love the Newsomes! In fact our first baby session ever was with the Newsomes! Gosh I don't even want to show these photos now but we all start somewhere right!? We have improved so much and can't wait to see how grown little Eli is now!

After our first baby session the Newsomes came back as a family and was one of our very first "paid" family sessions! We are super excited to be able to capture this family once again! They are one of our very first clients and hopefully one day we will be doing a newborn session for little Eli! (in 20 years maybe?)

We have really improved so much since then!

Congratulations Annie and Tim!
We will see you on Nov 3rd for our 2012 Fall Mini Session!

Local Vendor Spotlight: Whimsy by Amanda Rae Long

So my wife and I went to the Chattanooga Market this past weekend and found some amazing local vendors, ate some great foods from the street trucks, and bought some local fresh fruits and veggies. Browsing through the booths of handmade jewelry, crafts and clothing while resisting the temptations of the fresh baked goods that filled the air with warm goodness we found a cute little booth of blues and reds. We fell in love with the modern, whimsical, "with a touch of rustic" style of Whimsy - whimsical bird art by Amanda Rae Long! I first bough one of Amanda's pieces for my wife back in the fall. This little 4x4" Wood block I love the color blue she uses in most of her art.

This time we found this little red poppy painting that reminded us so much of our Logo we had to get it! Sorry for the cropped out photos of them! We haven't decided which wall to put them on yet. It has got to be big enough for us to add more from this local artist!

So check out her link above that goes to her Etsy page. I wasn't able to find a Facebook page for her but I'll update this post when I do!
